About Us
The Ulster & Connaught Heriatge Railways brand has come about as a direct result of the Cross Border Heritage Railway Cluster Project. This Project is a partnership between the following heritage railways; Cavan & Leitrim, Giant’s Causeway & Bushmills Railway and Downpatrick & Co. Down Railway. The project valued at €507,076, is concerned with the development, marketing and promotion of these Heritage Railways and is part-financed by the European Union through the Interreg IIIA Programme managed for the Special EU Programmes Body by the ICBAN Partnership. Match funding is being provided by Udaras na Gaeltachta.
