Badly damaged by a fire on 7 November 1949, it had to be rebuilt and as a result observers noted that it lost much of its character. It is one of only six original County Donegal Railcars still in existence. On loan by kind arrangement of the N.W.I.R.S.

The carriage offers excellent accommodation with disabled friendly access and PA system.
